Everybody’s Nutrition – Project Management

Description:

This project was the most substantial project in Project Management. While it was focused on the end product, the main objective of this project was to create deliverables and work with a team the same way one would in a corporate environment. Our group had conflicting time schedules, so we had to use when2meet in order to find times that worked for everyone.

Through this project, I learned how to fit creating deliverables into the project lifecycle. I learned that if not created in time, deliverables are no longer useful and present themselves as extra tasks. I also learned valuable presentation skills such as stepping forward when it is my time to speak and not saying "like" or "um" while speaking. I learned how to work with a group and how to handover a project to a client to ensure that the project gets its full use. This project was a good way to practice a full life cycle of a project in a corporate environment.
